What are the opening hours for the reservation office?
Reservations are open from 9am – 6pm daily.

 

Do I need to secure my reservation and how do I proceed?
Yes, your credit card details (number, expiration date and 3-digit security code) will be requested in order to secure the reservation. If you do not have a credit card, you will be asked to prepay a deposit defined by our reservation office and according to season.

What are your room types and the differences between them?

1 BEDROOM STANDARD VILLA – One bedroom, 2 bathrooms (1x main and 1x en-suite). Fully equipped open plan kitchen and living area. Includes a terrace or garden to appreciate the view.

2 BEDROOM STANDARD VILLA – 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathrooms (1x main and 1x en-suite). Fully equipped open plan kitchen and living area. Includes a terrace or garden to enjoy the views.

2 BEDROOM SUPERIOR VILLA – 2 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms (1x main and 2x en-suite). South-facing, fully-equipped open plan kitchen and living space make the most of the sunshine and views over the valley. Accommodation is across two floors and villas, all with private parking, a garden and a terrace.

3 BEDROOM SUPERIOR VILLA – 3 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (1x main and 2x en-suite). Open plan living and dining area with fully equipped kitchen and view of the valley. Accommodation is across two floors.

What difference is there between a standard villa and superior villa?

The superior villas are composed of two floors whereas the standard villas are all single storey.

 

Can I make changes to my booking?
If you have any questions regarding your bookings, amendments or cancellations please contact our Reservation office.

 

What are my travel options from the airport to the resort?
We can arrange a private transfer directly to the Hotel from Faro International Airport or help you rent a car. Kindly contact our reservations office for more information.

 

Does the hotel provide special rates, packages, promotions or offers?
Yes, our reservation team will be happy to arrange any of our offers for your stay.

 

Does the hotel offer wheelchair and have accessible rooms?
Unfortunately the resort does not provide any wheelchairs nor do we have accessible rooms.

Is there a lift?

There are no elevators in the resort.

 

Which payment methods does the hotel accept?
The hotel accepts cash and all major credit cards, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron. Please note that payments done through paychecks are not valid.

Holding deposit:

At check-in, guests will be asked for a security deposit of €250 (two hundred and fifty Euros) per room, to cover for any damage caused to the property during the stay. This deposit is mandatory and can be blocked on the credit card.

Where can I rent a car?
You may either rent through our reservation office before arrival or directly at the reception upon arrival at the resort.

 

Do you supply cots or high chairs?
Yes we do but in order to guarantee availability we ask that guests always pre-order any cots or high chairs they require when booking. Requests for additional equipment once guests have arrived will be subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

 

Is smoking/vaping permitted?
Smoking or vaping is prohibited in suits and enclosed public spaces. Ash trays may be provided upon request for external or balcony areas. Kindly observe smoking signs and only smoke in permitted designated areas.

 

Are bedlinen and towels provided?
We provide all linen and towels for your accommodation.

 

Are there robes in the rooms?
All our suites are equipped with complimentary robes for our guests.

 

Is there an iron and ironing board in the suite?
Irons or ironing boards on request. Laundry service isn’t available, however, all accommodations have a washing machine.

 

What is check in and check out time?
Check in is from 4pm and check out is until 11am.

 

Where can I store my luggage?
If needed, you can leave your bags at the reception.

 

Is it possible to extend the check out time?
It is subject to availability and can be requested at reception the day before your departure.

 

Until what time is reception available?
Reception is available from 8am to 8pm everyday.

 

Are you a pet friendly resort?
We do not accept animals in the resort.

 

Do I have full use of the leisure facilities at the resort?
During your stay you have full use of the outdoor swimming pool and playground.

 

Are there car parking?

The Vale da Ribeira Residences has private parking near the reception and next to some residences.

There is no extra cost for car parking.

 

Is it possible to reserve a parking space?
There is no need for pre-booking.

 

How many bars does the hotel have?

The hotel has one bar nearby the pool.

 

Do you provide pool towels?
Pool towels are placed inside the villa and changed every 3 days during the cleaning hours.

 

Is there a safe in the room and what is the cost?
All our villas are equipped with a safe at no additional charge.

 

Do you have a fitness centre? If so, what kind of equipment does it have?
The resort does not have a gym.

 

What is the nearest train station to the resort?
The nearest station is in Lagos located approximately 14 min (8,8 km) away.

Is there access to public transport nearby?
There is a bus stop about 2.5 km from the resort. During the summer the bus passes hourly towards Lagos – Portimão.

How far is the beach?
Meia Praia in Lagos it’s aprox. 11min (7,6km) drive. Praia da Rocha in Portimao it’s aprox. 24min (18km) drive.
 

What attractions are nearby?

Do you provide adapters?

We do not provide adapters but you can buy them from our grocery store.

Is it possible to rent a smartphone charger in case I forget to bring it with me?
We do not rent chargers. Please contact reception so we may charge it for you.
 

Is breakfast included in the price?

Breakfast is not included. All Rates are self catering.

Is room service available? If so, at what times?

There is no room service available.
 

Do you have free internet in the hotel?
Our guests have free access to Wi-Fi throughout the resort.

Is there a shop onsite?
We have a small grocery shop located at the Reception with all the basic necessities.
 

Are there walking and nature areas next to the resort?
Yes, the resort is set in a countryside / country setting.
